A web application program has been devised by us that provides the users with an Email Template Editor. The application follows WYSIWYG approach that eases the process of template creation and customization, thus ensuring time efficiency and cost efficiency.
Challenges
- With the rising demand to keep the customers updated for the best experience, a brochure template was required to be developed that can provide the business units with the ease of access to publish their content as a HTML page
- The application was required to reduce the manual effort of the users to minimum
- The application was also required to provide the users with the option to build and modify templates as and when required with least manpower
- Along with the ease of usage of the interface, the application should also ensure high level security
Solution
- After analysing the requirement, Sudoboat has devised a web application program that provides the users with an Email Template Editor which follows the WYSIWYG approach, easing template creation and customization processes
- With this Web Application, the content creators can create and update templates and push it for review process, which is then undertaken by a Publisher, who post the review process approves it for publishing
- Post publishing, third party mailer programs are configured to import the published email templates, and replace placeholders with actual dynamic content, based on specifications of product information and/or users in the mailer groups
- Finally, emails are shot to the mailer groups with updated information, which conforms to standards set by the template
Outcome
- Eased the process of template creation and optimization
- Multiple templates can be created or customised with minimum effort
- Compared to the previous interface that was used by the organisation, the current interface is cost efficient and time efficient
